Emma Elkins is originally from Northern California. She grew up in a large family and has been surrounded by babies her whole life. She studied Biology and Child Development in her undergraduate studies at California Polytechnic State University.Continuing on to obtain her masters in Maternal and Child Nutrition from UC Davis. While earning her masters degrees, She was a live-in nanny which further confirmed her love of working with families and babies.

Throughout working on her IBCLC certification, Emma had the unique opportunity to intern with many different lactation consultants throughout California, Alabama, and Tennessee. She has experience working with diverse populations in various settings including government agencies, clinics, virtual appointments, and in-home consultations. While gaining this invaluable experience, Emma discovered a great love for working with parents in their home.
