Nashville Doula Services provides care for the whole family before, during, and after birth. “It takes a village” isn’t just an old adage, it’s the truth! We build a bridge and play a critical role of educator and support so you and your partner can enter parenthood with confidence, clarity, and a stronger bond than ever, whether this is your first baby or you have several children already.
What is a birth doula?
Acting as an experienced guide, a doula lends her knowledge of birth, and familiarity with hospital policies to parents who are exploring their childbirth options, enabling them to make fully informed decisions that are right for their family. We are there beside you and your partner throughout labor, providing emotional support, massage, and non-medical pain management techniques to keep the laboring mother comfortable and focused throughout her labor and delivery. A birth doula also supports the partner, acknowledging that nothing can replace the love and understanding that the partner has for the birthing mother. Overall, a doula strives to orchestrate a peaceful and cohesive space for the birth of your new baby.

We provide a truly customized, team-approach to doula care that you can't get anywhere else; from your primary and backup doula team, to your certified lactation counselor who visits you at home once your milk has come in, we help to ensure a wonderful, informed, and smooth transition from pregnancy all the way to that critical initial postpartum time. OUR BIRTH DOULA PACKAGE
One complimentary virtual or in-person consultation to interview your potential doula, ask questions and get a feel for how our services work.
A two-doula team: You will get to build a relationship with your primary doula, and your secondary or back-up doula. All of our certified doulas are highly experienced, intuitive, knowledgeable, and hand-picked for our team.
2 prenatal meetings at our office in Franklin, in your home, or in another place of choice.
Assistance in creating your birth vision and plan.
Phone/text/email support from your doulas for questions throughout your pregnancy.
On-call, in-person labor assistance once you are ready for more support and continuous support throughout your labor, birth, and 1-2 hours post delivery.
In-home Lactation Support within the first week after birth, with one of our IBCLCs (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) to provide support, a weighted feed, advice, and whatever type of lactation support you need.
A postpartum follow-up visit with your doula in your home 1-2 weeks after your birth.

The total investment for our Birth Doula package is $1950.
Half of the total fee is required upon contracting, to secure your doulas. The deposit will go toward the total fee, and payment plans are available upon request.
